HUD Audit Services

Owners of rent-subsidized properties can have a significant, positive impact on the communities they serve. However, they face a myriad of reporting and compliance issues to maintain their properties' status. Members of the Audit team at Apple Growth Partners have significant experience managing the special audit requirements of properties that receive funding from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. In addition to the HUD audit, our expertise extends to the consideration and management of other issues including federal and state regulations, special HUD requirements and multiple funding sources. Our services include: 

- provision of financial data and reliable reports
- establishment and review of internal controls for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, terms and conditions
- qualified auditors who comply with accountancy laws and rules, and Government Auditing Standards
- guidance in submission of Corrective Action Plans when required by audit results
- integration of the necessary federal audit procedures with those required for regular business audit
- issuance of compliance reports according to provisions of loan agreements and/or federal and state tax return
