Promotions and new professionals at Moore Stephens Apple. | |
Akron, Oh – Moore Stephens Apple announced the following promotions and new staff additions this quarter.
- Carly Purtill, CPA was promoted to Senior Associate in our Akron office. She joined our audit and assurance team in 2005.
- Callie McKenzie was promoted to Senior Tax Associate in our Westlake office. She joined MSA in 2003.
- Brett Hillard was promoted to Senior Associate. Brett is a member of the business valuation team, specializing in ESOP valuation and consulting. He joined the firm in 2005.
- Jason Bogniard, MBA was promoted to Manager. Jason joined the firm in 2005, specializing in business valuation and litigation consulting for closely-held businesses.
- Dave Lux was promoted to Manager in our Akron office. Dave is a member of our tax planning and compliance team, specializing in the manufacturing industry. He joined MSA in 2001.
- Mark Mathieu was promoted to IT Manager. A Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Citrix Certified Administrator, Mark joined our firm in 2006.
- Principals Joel Hamsher and Randy Misch were promoted to Shareholders. Joel joined the firm in 1995 and leads our international tax consulting practice. Randy joined MSA in 2004 and leads our audit and assurance team.
- Jacqueline Witkiewicz, CPA, joined MSA’s audit and assurance team. As a Manager, she’ll focus on HUD, non-profit and benefit plan audits. Jackie holds a B.S. in Accounting from Xavier and a Master’s degree in Accounting from John Carroll University.
- Susan Pho joined the audit and assurance team as an Associate. She completed two internships with Moore Stephens Apple while earning both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Case Western Reserve University.
- Celia Hashlamoun joined the firm as a Financial Analyst/Business Valuation Associate in the Mayfield Village office. She is currently a senior at the University of Akron pursuing a degree in Corporate Finance and International Business.
- Betsi Bellamy Staugh joined MSA as a Senior Associate with our Automotive Dealership team. Betsi has over 20 years of experience in the retail automobile industry in Finance, Sales and General Manager roles. She will be consulting with automotive clients on financial planning and management, operations, and inventory management.
