Davin Gustafson, JD | Principal | Business valuation – As the principal leader of AGP’s ESOP practice, Gustafson has performed more than 2,000 valuation engagements within his 30 years of experience. He is a well-known ESOP expert and sought frequently for national and statewide speaking engagements. Thriving as a proactive and relationship-based, Gustafson established a hands-on approach with his clients to walk through the entire ESOP process together. He is a member of The ESOP Association and Ohio Employee Ownership Center.
Eric Flickinger, CPA/ABV | Manager | Business valuation – With a background in public accounting, Flickinger started his career as a tax intern for Apple Growth Partners and eventually transitioned to the business valuation team. The value of his accounting experience carried over to providing business valuation services to privately held companies, including Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs) and succession planning. Flickinger holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Akron and is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Flickinger is also a member of the ESOP Association, Ohio Employee Ownership Center, and the National Center for Employee Ownership.
Matthew (Matt) Silla, ASA, CFA | Senior manager | Business valuation – As an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), Silla has been responsible for the development of hundreds of business valuation engagements for a variety of companies and ownership interested covering various industries. Silla has more than 15 years of professional experience and focuses exclusively on valuation services. His concentration includes the valuation of businesses, intangible assets and stock options. He has performed valuations or other financial analysis for many purposes including estate and gift tax, Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), mergers and acquisitions, succession planning and financial reporting matters, among others. Silla is a graduate of Baldwin Wallace University and is a member of the American Society of Appraisers, as well as a Charter holder of the CFA institute. His professional associations include The ESOP Association, Ohio Employee Ownership Center, National Center for Employee Ownership, and Chagrin Valley Chamber of Commerce.
